PEDAGOGICAL EXCELLENCE
& ACTIVE LEARNING
Learning at Villa Maria is engaging, challenging, and hands-on. We are proud to have an exceptional team of educators, many of whom are specialists with multiple academic qualifications and honours.
UNIQUE BILINGUAL ENVIRONMENT
Villa Maria views bilingualism as a powerful asset. Whether they are enrolled in the English or French sector, students experience bilingualism through trips, activities, and daily life. This fosters stronger cognitive abilities and enhances mental flexibility—skills whose scope extends far beyond the classroom.
SUPPORTIVE
& CARING COMMUNITY
Our dedicated support team consists of special education technicians, guidance counsellors, and resource teachers who work collaboratively to ensure students’ success. Academic support is available both during and after school hours.
VIBRANT STUDENT LIFE
From sports and arts to clubs and leadership opportunities, our extracurricular activities foster personal growth and lasting friendships, making the high school experience enriching and unforgettable.
PROJECT-BASED LEARNING
Starting in the 2026–2027 school year, Villa Maria will introduce a new pedagogical model focused on student voice and choice.
The goal is to personalize learning while maintaining the structure and expectations of the ministry’s curriculum.
Core subjects like math, science and language remain, but students will have more flexibility to explore interests that matter to them. This redesign introduces a structure for personal development, with each grade level built around a guiding theme. These themes span both academic and co-curricular life.
In addition, students will have experience periods during which they will be given the chance to learn by doing, immersing themselves in real-world projects that build skills, spark curiosity, and have a lasting impact.
